Denise Padilla, LCSW
Founder, Therapist, She/Her/Hers
Hello! I'm Denise, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about social justice, access and equality with over a decade of experience in multiple settings, such as education, healthcare, behavioral and mental health counseling. I am interested in destigmatizing mental health and empowering people from diverse communities. I utilize eclectic approaches like Strength-Based, Person-Centered, Culturally Sensitive, Trauma-Informed, CBT and Solution Focused therapies to collectively build awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together we will identify your strengths, create strategies to navigate challenges and to process the experiences most important to you. If you are dealing with stress, worry, sadness, life transitions, marginalization, self-esteem or identity issues, I am here to listen, explore, and collaborate. I am licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (LCSW # 70645). As a provider, I too am always learning and taking steps in centering myself in the work of decolonizing mental health. Outside of my therapist role, I enjoy hiking and writing. I am a BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ affirming provider who practices staying informed and advocates for just causes. I accept private pay, Lyra Health and a few additional insurances. Inquire at email helloadmin@movementtalktherapy.com Not currently accepting new clients.

Therapist, She/Her/Hers
Hi! I’m Liset, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#86352). I am a first-generation, Mexican American who provides therapy services in English and Spanish. I majored in Sociology and Social Work to learn how to address the disparities I witnessed within my community. I have more than nine years of experience working with diverse populations in healthcare, outpatient and government agency settings. I use a multicultural approach with the goal of understanding each client’s individual needs. I am rooted in values of social justice and human rights, which inspire my practice. I take a genuine and relational approach with my clients. My sessions are structured in a conversational and strength-based method. I hold a belief that we all have internal wisdom, will and strength. Sometimes we need guidance to access them. It is my goal to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate environment that allows us to collaborate and bring positive change to your life. I accept the Lyra Health benefit.
